Material Processing Services

MS & SS Fabrication

We provide expert fabrication in Mild Steel (MS) and Stainless Steel (SS) for diverse industrial needs, applying specific finishing processes for architectural or structural requirements.

Service Overview

Premium Metal Selection, Flawless Finishing

At Ambe Engineering Co., we deliver high-quality fabrication services across mild steel and stainless steel alloys. Mild steel is processed primarily for robust structures, frames, brackets, and fixtures, finished with protective powder coatings or galvanizing. Stainless steel is profiled for pharmaceutical, food, dairy, and architectural components that demand high corrosion resistance, aesthetic satin/mirror finishes, and hygienic clean welds.

Our workshop maintains separated fabrication sections for carbon steel and stainless steel to prevent cross-contamination, ensuring that SS parts remain fully corrosion-free after pickling and passivating.

Why Choose Us

Advantages of MS & SS Fabrication

Applying dedicated workspace parameters to preserve material purity and finish quality.

Anti-Contamination Work

SS fabrication is handled in a separate bay with SS-only tooling, preventing carbon iron contamination and rust spots.

Hygienic TIG Welds

Argon gas purging during TIG welding ensures full penetration and smooth crevice-free joints, essential for food/pharma sectors.

Aesthetic Polishing

We polish stainless steel structures to mirror or uniform satin hairline textures, ideal for architectural fittings.

Optimal Tonnage

Heavy MS frames are built using heavy-tonnage press bending and structural beams, offering robust long-term load capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about steel grades, passivation, or corrosion specs?

SS 304 is the standard utility grade for food processing and general enclosures. SS 316 contains molybdenum, making it highly resistant to chlorides and chemical corrosion, preferred in marine or pharma setups.

When carbon steel particles come in contact with stainless steel, they break the passive chromium-oxide layer, causing localized galvanic corrosion or rust. We isolate our SS fabrication processes to prevent this.

Yes. After welding, SS assemblies undergo chemical pickling and passivation to remove weld scale and heat tint, restoring the chromium oxide layer for maximum rust protection.

Our 6 kW CNC Fiber Laser cuts stainless steel sheets up to 14 mm thickness with clean edge finishes, and mild steel up to 25 mm thickness.

Yes. We fabricate custom lobby screens, column covers, panel layouts, and heavy railings, polishing them to a uniform hairline satin or mirror finish according to architectural specs.

Please indicate the required steel grade (e.g. IS 2062 Gr. A), overall dimensions, weld fillet sizes, and preferred surface coating (primer, powder coating, or hot-dip galvanizing).
